Some major changes have taken place in our focus on the telecom market recently. In the past we concentrated on selling cable for the construction of backbone networks. Nowadays we see an increasing demand for fibre optic cable, that is also being used in distribution and local parts of the networks. The common trend is that even on these lower levels of the network the medium is switched from copper to glass fibre. The development of Fibre To The Home related projects is a very clear example of this.
