LG CABLE Europe or in short LGCE.
As you can probably guess when you look at our name we are focusing on the supply of cables in Europe. Although LGCE is capable of supplying a large variety of different cable types, the focus is on the distribution of fibre optic cables, energy cables and the matching accessories.

LGCE has been founded in 1999 and has focused on providing backbone fibre optic cables to the large (PAN) European telecom operators from scratch.

Many new operators were building their networks, which lead to a huge demand for fibre optic cable. Because of our close and good relationships with our factories we have been able to fulfill these huge demands and live up to the expectations of our customers.

Up to today the supply of fibre optic backbone cable is an important part of our business, but of course in the last years some things have changed.

In the past the focus was on building backbone networks. Nowadays we see more fibre optic cable being used in other parts of the networks. The development of Fibre to the Home networks is a very clear example of this.

Of course LGCE has adapted to this changing market. Detailed distribution networks, direct deliveries from our central warehouse, the introduction of new products and solutions and the possibility to offer turnkey solutions are the answer to the challenges we are facing.

With a production capacity of more than 10 million fibre kilometers annually we are able to supply our cables for large projects, but due to our intelligent and sophisticated logistics we are also able to supply accurately and competitively for smaller projects.

Besides our activities for fibre optic cable we are currently also involved in the supply and installation of energy cable from 110 kV up to 380 kV. As an approved supplier for TenneT we are for instance supplying the cable for the 110 kV route Hoogeveen-Beilen.
