Introduction of Eco-Friendly LGCE Drums

An Eco-friendly way of thinking is becoming more and more important in nowadays business. A wide range of initiatives have already been set up in our production plants to reduce the harmful environmental effects caused by the production processes.

Recently, our factory has become the first Korean cable manufacturer that has been awarded the FSC (Forest Steward Council) certificate. This is the outcome due to the introduction of FSC-certified wooden drums in order to promote an eco-friendliness way of packaging.

FSC certified forest products are verified from the forest of origin through the supply chain. The FSC label ensures that the forest products used are from responsibly harvested and verified sources.

Final goal is to increase our percentage of eco-friendly products even more in the near future. Besides the FSC certified drums are recyclable distribution cable and eco friendly produced tubes already an examples of our ‘green’ way of thinking.
