An increasing number of Dutch cities are currently moving from conventional copper lines, to Fiber to the Home applications (FttH). One of the major advantages of fiberglass is the possibility of high transmission rates. Users get access to fast internet, television and telephony over glassfibre.

The high speed makes it possible to transfer enormous files easily both in uploads as in  downloads. It also makes high definition television and video on demand possible.

In 2009 LGCE was  awarded (by HAK Telecom)  the Reggefiber project Zeewolde for the installation of 7500 households.

LGCE has been closely involved in this project from the beginning. Not only are we supplying all required materials for this project (Cable, duct, optical distribution frames, pops and so on) but also are we actively involved in the training and education of the installation staff.

Together with HAK we are monitoring the progress and we are planning our logistics accordingly.
