We are very proud because the Hollandse Kust (north) project is ready to bring green energy from the sea to land! ⚡

The grid connection has been awarded the 'grid readiness' certificate by DNV, marking a new milestone for the offshore wind connection. Hollandse Kust (north) is the fifth and last 700 megawatt connection on the 'Routemap 2023' from the Energy Agreement for sustainable growth. It was agreed ten years ago that this year there will be at least 4,500 megawatts of installed offshore wind capacity. An amount of electricity that is comparable to the annual consumption of five million households. The Netherlands thus achieves the important objective in the Energy Agreement.

A major achievement amongst others made possible by the delivery and installation of the 220 kV export and terrestrial cables from LS Cable & System for which LGCE is active as an agent in this project.
