HTC International has recently started installing the HCS data cabling network in the new premises of the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and the Medicines Evaluation Board (CBG).

The HCS Cat.6A S/FTP cabling system with a total of +/- 12,000 connections will provide a perfect and future-proof data infrastructure in the 18-storey building. In addition to the copper cabling, a complete HCS fibre-optic network is also being installed. This serves as the backbone between the various MER and SER rooms. The building is located at the Science Park in Utrecht.

The premises consist of several building sections, including an office tower and various laboratories. Construction is being carried out on behalf of the Dutch Central Government Real Estate Agency (Rijksvastgoedbedrijf).

MEET Strukton B.V. is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance and operation of the new building as well as for the facility services.
